Adobe Analytics which gives accurate insights for retail and e-commerce sites has reported today the main trends of consumer spending of Black Friday and Cyber Monday’s purchases to show mainly how much spent and what are they buying.

Here are results so far:

Device Desktops Smartphones Tablets
Percentage of traffic 59% 36% 5%

According to Adobe, most of all online purchases on Black Friday and cyber Monday were made using Desktops (59%) with an amount of 5,55 billion USD, when purchases using smartphones constitute only 39% (with an amount of 3,67 billion USD), and only 180 Million USD was spent on purchases using Tablets, so in general revenues hasn’t remained stuck at 2.1 Billion USD of last year.

Bought products were mostly:

  • Appliances : fridges & freezers, ovens&cooking,…
  • Sporting Goods : sportwears, sneakers,…
  • Computers and laptops : Apple MacBook laptops,…
  • Pc gadgets and mobile hub : headphones,
  • Televisions : Samsung TVs
  • Furniture & Bedding.

It’s important to note that obtained data are relevant to the American market, but they demonstrate modern trends as well.
