The latest news today’s morning coming from Mountain View, California, has reported that Google co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page announced that they’re leaving the leading positions of the American multinational company Alphabet.
Today, it’s announced that Google CEO Sundar Pichai would be taking over as CEO of Alphabet Inc. Brin and Page wrote in an a blogpost in a blogpost on Tuesday that Alphabet’s work is now well established, and various companies in its composition work independantly, and that it’s time to assume the role of proud parents to simplify the management structure of the parent company.
Alphabet was founded by Brin and Page in 2015 and became the parent of Google and several former Google daughter companies. Nevertheless, Google remained the principal frontage in the public eye. This makes an additional sense that Pichai will lead both companies.
Sundar Pichai has already said that the structural changes won’t affect the daily routine in Alphabet. He noted that he will continue to focus on Google, while helping to manage Alphabet together.
