Google announced a special gadget for developers of Android TV
Google has announced the release of its latest version of the Android 10 operating system for the Android TV platform.
Android TV received an update to the Android API level 29 (Android 10). This brings more secure storage, when Android TV was first introduced in 2014, Google is carrying out its best to find out a nice use of Android on TVs. So Google brought Android 10 with the following updates for TVs:
- Android 10 on Android TV will provide improvements in network connections.
- Will make streaming content smoother.
- Gives more secure storage with encrypted user data.
Google also introduced a developer device called ADT-3 (Android Development Tool). The small set-top box allows you to test Android TV applications under operating conditions, not with emulators on your computer. This pre-certified TV received a quad-core platform A53, 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and an HDMI 2.1 output supporting 4Kp60 HDR.
ADT-3 will be available to Google partners so to have the ability to build and test Android TV app on Android 10.
