HUAWEI has been the leader in the number of sold smartphones For several years. Despite US’s sanctions and a trade war between the two countries, the Chinese company managed to maintain a positive sales dynamic.

In 2019, HUAWEI sold 240 million smartphones over the world. In the case of the flagship P and Mate lines, 50% sales growth was noted. The estimated revenue from total sales will be $123 billion, 18% higher than last year’s figures. But HUAWEI officials noted that, in the absence of US pressure, the numbers would have been even more impressive.

HUAWEI has lately introduced eight 5G smartphone models: Mate 30 Pro 5G, Mate 30 5G, Mate 30 5G, Mate 30 RS, Mate 20 X (5G), Nova 6 5G, Mate X, V30 Pro and V30, as well as actively supporting the trend toward the introduction of 5th generation networks. Because all 5G smartphone models support both standalone (SA) and non-autonomous (NSA) network modes, customers often preferred the gadgets of this brand. Thus, in 2019, the Chinese manufacturer sold about 6.9 million devices with 5G support.

In addition, more than two million HUAWEI Watch GT2 smart watches have been implemented in just three months since the release, as well as over a million FreeBuds 3 headphones just a month after the start of sales.
