According to foreign media reports, Google is developing a new feature that provides a simple way for users to share information between nearby devices, which is similar to Apple’s AirDrop.
Google has renamed Fast Share to Nearby Share, According to the information exposed by mobile software development community (XDA), Nearby Sharing is integrated into the new Android operating system.
Sharing information between apps has always a crucial importance, so, the actual transmission speed of Nearby Sharing is expected to be faster than traditional Bluetooth transmission after being adjusted and fix what’s been missing.
Google expects to announce this feature at the annual developer conference held by Google in Mountain View, California this year.
