Microsoft unveiled a fun new app that uses machine learning technology to compare a user’s facial expressions with an emoji, and create a new emoji from a person’s facial expressions. Emoji8 uses the phone’s webcam to monitor users who imitate chosen emoji expressions.
Emoji8 is often described as a “very fun UWP model App” that uses Window’s Machine Learning and displays it in an easy way to users to try it!
The app uses a webcam to monitor the user’s face, read his expressions and convert them into appropriate emojis, the app is open source on GitHub. Anyone can download and try it on their computer through the Windows Store. After that, an internet connection is not necessary to use the application.
