There’s a lot to like about Samsung’s Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra. But now we know the smart money should wait. And this is why.

Samsung’s flagship smartphone Galaxy Note20 is expected to be launched in the coming months, so more and more details about the upcoming novelty are coming online. Another batch of information came from the founder and head of Display Supply Chain Consultants, Ross Young, who revealed the key features of the device.

Ross Young had previously described the features of the Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20+, and stated that Samsung was not going to release the Ultra version, as was the case with the Galaxy S20. He now announced that the new smartphones would be equipped with a second-generation ultrasonic underside fingerprint scanner Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max. Compared to its predecessor, this sensor has 17 times the response area, is faster and can recognize two fingers at once.

The insider also assures that Galaxy Note20 will have up to 16 GB of RAM and a battery capacity of 4,000 to 5,000 mA, which is in line with current trends. He noted that Samsung would keep the front camera located in the centre of the display. However, Young does not specify whether the module will be hidden from the user’s eyes. According to him, a normal Note20 would receive a 6.42-inch screen, and a Plus version would receive a 6.87-inch screen.

Finally, the head of the Display Supply Chain Consultants assures that the launch of Galaxy Note20 will take place in August.
