According to the specialized site Gizmodo, citing sources on the Kickstarter project for participatory project financing, the company decided to lay off a large number of its employees, and the number may reach 45 percent of its total staff, in order to keep pace with the losses suffered by the platform.
On the other hand, Kickstarter has declared that it respects the rights of all employees who will be laid off by benefiting from the coming months’ compensation in addition to the health coverage for a period of 4 to 6 months.
