One of the most desired functions by users is to create surveys by Whatsapp, in fact it is something we have already asked for in our 2020 wish list, but, as we see in the video «Whatsapp News in 2020» (we leave a little more below)Looks like he won’t make it.
Creating surveys on Whatsapp is tremendously useful in groups where you need to vote for something, and is often solved with answers from Yes and No that some volunteer will have to count on later.
Back to the polls. At the moment it is not possible natively, and that is what they intend to solve with Polls, a website where we can create a survey without registration and publish it on Whatsapp to look like this:
As you can see, when publishing it in a group, members will only have to click on the appropriate link, and automatically count the votes so that they appear in the survey url.
To create the survey we only have to access polls.fr and fill in the questionnaire, with the name of the survey (optional), the question and the different possible answers (up to a maximum of four). We can also include the duration of the survey, so that it expires when we want it.
The users of the Whatsapp group will only see the links of the answers, they will not see the link that leads to the result, although finding the url is as simple as removing the last number of that link, so we are not talking about a big hidden secret.
A quick and simple solution ideal to go waiting for the official solution that, hopefully, will come some day from Whatsapp.
