If you have a router that does not support WiFi 6, you should start thinking about some alterations to your next birthday gift list.
We are talking about a standard that was approved several months ago, so much so that there are already a huge number of devices compatible with WiFi 6. Thanks to this new technology, devices connected to the same WiFi network will be able to navigate faster, without creating interference and skipping queues.
As you can see, it’s not just about changing the router, it’s about having devices (mobile, tablets, TVs, watches, etc.) compatible with WiFi 6, although the latest models already are, so little by little we’ll get used to the theme.
The main advantages, as you see in the video, are the possibility of connecting many devices on the same WiFi network without having problems of interference between them, something that is very common in WiFi 5 and earlier.
It has other advantages for companies with more than one router, but in our house, in the day to day, we will see that a 100 Mbps connection is much more effective when each device has its dedicated broadcast and reception band, when everyone can send data at the same time and when the battery of each device increases its autonomy, as I explain in the video above.
