The Chinese company Huawei is one of the first companies in the digital world to invest in the field of foldable devices, and in the light of the fierce competition from other companies in the field, headed by South Korean Samsung, it was expected that Huawei would present its new foldable phone at the end of this year However, it appears that this will not happen as expected.

And a number of reports earlier this year indicated that the end of the year 2020 will witness the Chinese company Huawei launching its new phone with its flexible and foldable screen, which will be named Mate X2, but things have accelerated since then, especially due to US sanctions for President Trump on Huawei, which may dispel Huawei’s dreams of launching this phone during the current year and thus users have to wait a longer period.

The new information was transmitted by specialist analyst Ross Young, as he indicated, citing reliable industry sources, that it will be impossible for Huawei to launch the Mate X2 before the end of the year, and that this will be closer to verification next year 2021, indicating that the new Huawei phone will be completely Chinese. Whether it comes to the components or also at the software level, as it will not work as it is known by Google Android or other foreign applications, and therefore it is likely, as Huawei officials indicated, that it will work with the HarmonyOS operating system.

And it remains to be noted that the US sanctions have clearly affected Huawei in the recent period at all levels.
